Highland Green Golf Club Prepares for 2005 Season
New Head Pro, Scottish Style Pub and Restaurant in Place
December 14, 2004
With the first season officially in the books, work at Highland Green Golf Club continues behind the scenes as they prepare for upcoming winter activities and the 2005 season. This winter the course will serve as cross country ski destination with groomed, public trails meandering throughout the course.
There is also great anticipation about the 2005 golf season. Dan Perry, a professional instructor who’s been involved with golf business for more than for 30 years, has been hired to head golf operations at the club.
“It’s very exciting to be involved with Highland Green Golf Club,” said Dan Perry, head professional. “We’ve got a wonderful course and we’re currently planning a busy schedule of events, clinics, and tournaments for the 2005 season.”
This winter a Scottish-style pub and restaurant will be added to the clubhouse. Besides cross country skiing, the miles of hiking trails located on the Cathance River Preserve will be open to snowshoers and winter hikers.
Highland Green Golf Club is a semi-private facility offering memberships and daily fee play. For information about memberships call Diane at (207) 725-8066.
