The Cathance River Ecology Center is a joint effort on behalf of the Cathance River Education Alliance, Highland Green and numerous corporate donors and grantors.
Located at the preserve trailhead, the Center is a unique combination of antique timbers from a barn and "green" building supplies and technology. Relying on solar power and utilizing other green building technology, the Center serves as a classroom and meeting space for local school groups and students of all ages.
