From a short stroll around a vernal pool featuring an observation platform to a more rugged hike alongside the pristine Cathance River, the hiking trails at Highland Green offer something for everyone.
Situated on the 230-acre Cathance River Nature Preserve, the hiking trails provide for approximately seven miles of diverse hikes amidst the splendor an unspoiled setting. Wild raspberry bushes, stretches of old-growth forests, and a variety of flora and wildlife including beaver, red fox, deer, and wild turkey are here to enjoy.
